How Much Does Mold Testing Cost?
Mold testing with MUSH in ROOM is a flat $599 as part of the Standard Inspection, and that figure already includes the laboratory analysis. A standard residential test uses two indoor air samples plus a same-day outdoor control – without that control, indoor numbers cannot be interpreted.

What decides where I land in the range?
Four things: the square footage and number of levels, whether there is a crawl space needing access, how many laboratory samples the situation actually warrants, and whether you need same-week turnaround. We confirm the exact figure before we book, not after we arrive.
Is there a travel charge for my town?
No. Every town in our service area is charged at the same rate, from Edwardsville to Vandalia.
Can I get just the lab work without an inspection?
We do not recommend it. Samples taken without moisture mapping and an outdoor control produce numbers nobody can interpret, which is the most common way people waste money on mold testing.
