Most "free mold inspections" are offered by remediation companies, where the inspection is a sales call and the inspector is paid when mold is found. Local health departments occasionally assist with rental complaints but seldom perform laboratory testing.

No. Phone consultations are free, and if we do not think you need an inspection we will tell you so on the call.
What decides where I land in the range?
Four things: the square footage and number of levels, whether there is a crawl space needing access, how many laboratory samples the situation actually warrants, and whether you need same-week turnaround. We confirm the exact figure before we book, not after we arrive.
Is there a travel charge for my town?
No. Every town in our service area is charged at the same rate, from Edwardsville to Vandalia.
Can I get just the lab work without an inspection?
We do not recommend it. Samples taken without moisture mapping and an outdoor control produce numbers nobody can interpret, which is the most common way people waste money on mold testing.
