Independent Inspector vs Remediation Company
When a company both diagnoses and treats mold, it profits from its own findings. That is a structural conflict of interest, not an accusation about any individual firm. An independent test-only inspector has no financial stake in whether mold is found, which is why clearance testing in particular should never be done by the remediation contractor.
